VG247 got a news from its sources that Sony's Playstation 3's wiimote esq controller finally gets a name and it's titled "Arc". The name is ok, well at least this isn't named "Gem" or "Sphere" like rumored hoped for but "Arc" would do just fine.
Although the PS3 motion controller got a rumored name the release date isn't safe though. Used to be release this spring 2010, in a press release SCEI president Kaz Hirai said that the Motion controller will be pushed to fall of 2010, the reason behind it says "offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users". He also said that first party titles on the PS3 will use the said controller and game from other companies "whom we have been working closely with."
